
Empowering Female Leadership
As fierce advocates of women in business, we were thrilled to win the tender for The Gender Index, a live interactive media tool mapping every single active UK company in real time. With findings on gender, regions, sectors, and investment.
Our challenge was to launch this game changing initiative to help tackle gender inequality in the UK company landscape, using the data to tell the story. (The number of female led companies was 3.5 times smaller than male-led companies). Sponsors included: Natwest Group, Amazon Web Services and Goldman Sachs 10 Thousand Small Businesses UK.
We developed a compelling data-driven PR story. Focusing on the solution (not just the problem!), we grew a community of #TGI gamechangers, who shared insights and wisdom and comprised thought leaders such as: female founders, investors, researchers and those involved in growing female entrepreneurship. We produced and delivered a launch event at London’s The Shard, alongside a PR, content and social campaign. PR coverage swept the board including substantial pieces in The Times, The Guardian, The Evening Standard, London Live and the BBC. Online coverage alone achieved an estimated 855k views and an estimated total audience of 224 million.
